Joseba Mendiguren is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanics and Industrial Production at Mondragon Unibertsitatea. His research area is the experimental, theoretical and numerical metal forming with a strong focus on stamping, roll-forming and forging technologies.
After graduating from the École nationale supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (Paris), Dr Mendiguren received his PhD in Mechanics and Materials Engineering (international certification and cum laude) from Mondragon Unibertsitatea in 2012. After that, he joined the Deakin University (Australia) roll-forming team for a while before getting a permanent position at the Advanced Material Forming Processes research group at Mondragon Unibertsitatea.
Accredited as full Professor by UNIBASQUE in 2023, Dr Mendiguren combines his research and technology transfer/consulting activities with bachelor and master lecturing, international relation liaison and university managing responsibilities. Since 2023 also holds a Foreign Lecturer position at Noth China University of Technology.
